CPAP Specialist – Mississauga, ON

InspiAIR is currently recruiting for our next amazing hire as a Full Time CPAP Specialist in Missisauga, ON.

We are in expansion mode and are actively recruiting an experienced and motivated CPAP Specialist.

This is a full-time, permanent position and we are looking for a healthcare professional that is motivated for more than just a job, someone who wants a career. As part of our healthcare team, this position is responsible for respiratory assessments in the community, initiation of prescribed therapies and the promotion of products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Education of Sleep Breathing Disorders to patients;
  • Explaining the use of CPAP/APAP devices and their accessories;
  • Selling required CPAP/APAP devices to patients;
  • Troubleshooting CPAP/APAP devices with patients;
  • Creating invoices, taking payment through point of sale (POS), and managing inventory;
  • Maintaining and obtaining medical documentation as per protocols;
  • Working with 3rd party insurance providers to obtain funding for equipment;
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Any experience in the sleep field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience.
  • Customer Service or Sales experience in sleep field is an asset.
  • Fluency in English required (reading, writing and oral).
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations, prioritize tasks, and set deadlines.
  • A professional and mature demeanor, with strong communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Must possess commitment to client’s personal safety.
  • Knowledge of how to operate Respiratory Equipment (POCs, CPAP is considered an asset).
  • Current basic rescuer CPR and First AID Training is considered an asset.
  • Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, or similar accounting software & experience with CRM/EMR system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
